Instructors: Jed Rammell & Fred Dummar

Jed is the COO of Slate Mountain Homes, located in Eastern Idaho. He currently oversees the operations and financial responsibilities for projects ranging from modular home developments, tiny home communities, manufactured home dealerships, and other projects focused on asset repositioning and affordable housing. Jed has over 15 years experience in the accounting/finance world. He has a Bachelors degree in Accounting and a MBA. He has held both Controller and CFO positions in the following industries: Real Estate Development, Real Estate Sales & Marketing, Ag & Commercial Real Estate, Land Holdings & Lending. Jed is well versed in underwriting multifamily projects, mobile home developments, hotel projects, and enjoys working with towns and cities to help come up with creative solutions for affordable housing. He has worked closely with private equity groups, institutional investment groups, and asset-based lending groups. He is a licensed real estate professional. Jed and his wife, Katie, are the proud parents of 3 boys and a 3 year old princess. He spends most of his free time involved in his kid’s activities, and loves both caddying and playing golf.

 

Fred is a partner in Slate Mountain Homes, located in Eastern Idaho. He oversees the moving, setting, and rehab of manufactured and modular home projects. Fred has a passion for affordable housing and housing solutions that focus on underserved members of our communities. Fred has over 35 years of experience in the leadership and management business. He served 25 years as a U.S. Army Green Beret before serving in senior management positions with Defense and Investment Training companies. Fred has a master’s in Strategy and Policy and is pursuing a Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership. He has held Program Manager, Senior Vice President, and CEO positions in the following industries: Investment Training, Security Assistance, Crisis Response, Real Estate Training for Overseas Investors, and Online Education delivery. Fred and his wife, Rebecca, are the proud parents of 3 girls and 1 boy. Fred volunteers and advocates for Veterans in Idaho as a Leadership Fellow with Mission 43 and for access to clean water as a member of Waterboys.
